So this is my first holiday season with a little one and noticed around the house/clothing I have several products from all from one company and it got me thinking. They have Carter’s skip-hop and oshgoshbgosh. Skip hop seems to be the growth side and innovative. Would love to see anyone else’s take on the company I will investigate further but just thought I would see if anyone else has looked into this. They also have partnered with Berkshire in deals in the past.

  • Their gross margin has been climbing over the last 10 years suggesting they have some pricing power. Pretty good margins for a retailer, debt looks high which could be an issue given its a cyclical. Looks pretty overvalued at present. Worth digging into more though and could be one for the watchlist. I'd try and figure out what the long-term growth prospects are too.
